| Learn of Christ |

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29
In His school, we shall learn how to be meek and lowly.
The more one sees of the character of God, the more humble he becomes and the lower his estimation is of himself.
This indeed is the evidence that he beholds God, that he is in union with Jesus Christ.
Unless we are meek and lowly, we cannot in truth claim that we have any conception of the character of God.
Praise, flattery and indulgence have done more toward leading precious souls into false paths than any other art that Satan has devised.
The strength of every soul is in God and not in man. Quietness and confidence is to be the strength of all who give their hearts to God. |
